I ask for your vote to keep Battle Ground a great place to live!
A Voice For Battle Ground
Battle Ground has been my home since 1990. I love this city—its people, its values, and its future. It has been an honor to serve you on City Council, where I’ve worked hard to deliver results that reflect our shared priorities.
I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished together: fully funding our police, reducing city debt, improving roads, and launching the Utility Rate Reduction Program for Low-Income Seniors—making essential services more affordable for those who need them most.
I’ve championed thoughtful, transparent governance and efforts to preserve our small-town character. I’m especially excited about the ongoing revitalization of Old Town, where we’re supporting local businesses, upgrading infrastructure, and creating spaces that bring our community together.
With your continued support, I’ll remain focused on smart, sustainable growth, public safety, economic opportunity, and fiscal responsibility—while keeping services strong and taxes manageable.
Now more than ever, we need steady leadership grounded in experience, heart, and a clear vision for the future. I humbly ask for your vote so we can continue working together to keep Battle Ground a place we’re all proud to call home.
"I enthusiastically endorse Cherish Desrocher-Vafeados for Battle Ground City Council. I met Cherish in our work on the Battle Ground Education Foundation. Cherish cares deeply about our community and does the work to prove it. As an incumbent Council Member she has worked diligently on behalf of the city of Battle Ground, and has earned another term. I encourage people to get to know Cherish, and to vote for her in the upcoming election."
